“My music makes me feel like I’m the rebirth of hip hop because of the way that I approach and present the craft. I tell you stories, spill out my vulnerabilities, and let you in on both my struggles and my success. You get the bad and the good from me.”
J’Kein Marquez O’Neal, now known as Tulooo Fresh, was born in Washington, NC on July 25, 1994. He resided there with his mother and younger sister until he was 12 years old when they moved to Greenville, NC. He spent the rest of his youth growing into manhood in Greenville.
“My musical influences were along the lines of Jeezy, Gucci Mane, G-Unit, Lil Wayne, and my brother Luey Devon (also known as Stunt, ½ of Made Lafamilia)."
Strains on his home life as an adolescent led to him having to fend for himself at an early age. He had his first son, Jayden, when he was 17 years old, and his second son, J’Kein Jr. when he was 21 years old. For 4 years he battled going back and forth to court for a variety of “shit”. These things sculpted him, not only into the artist that he is today, but the man he is today.

I mean that exactly how I said it. Tulooo raps J’Kein’s story. The long nights gave birth to the deep heartfelt flow, and the good days produced the rhythmic, melodic vocals.”
